Pelagia Protein

Pelagia Protein is located in the entrance to the port of Egersund and was built as a fishmeal plant in 1919. In the period 1956 to 1988 the plant was used for soybean production. In 2006 the plant was approved as the only border crossing for imports of fishmeal from third countries.

Products

  • The plant can store 34 000 tons of flour and 14 000 tonnes of oil. With 66 silos and 9 tanks Pelagia Protein Ryttervik provides unique opportunities for the mixture to the client in both meal and oil.
