Pelagia Greenock

The factory was founded in 2001 and is located in Greenock on the West Coast of Scotland. Scotland’s cold clear waters are the home of the Atlantic Salmon, the source for the factory's production of fish oil and fish proteins.

Products

  • The factory processes trimmings from the Scottish Salmon industry and produces value added oil and protein ingredients used in premium animal feeds.
  • From the Atlantic Salmon pure Salmon Oil and Salmon Pro Hydrolysate are produced for sale as high quality feed ingredients.

Activity: 

  • Production of fish oil and fish protein
  • We collect only food grade Salmon raw materials and process them under our Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan, which includes strict operating and traceability procedures. These procedures conform to FEMAS (Feed Materials Assurance Scheme) certification covering the sourcing and processing of feed materials, tracked right back to origin.
