Pelagia Akva Ren Djupvik

Pelagia AkvaRen Djupvik has been an important partner for Norwegian aquaculture since 1992. Our factory is located in the northern part of Norway, Djupvik in Troms. For 30 years AkvaRen has worked together with the aquaculture industry, and contributed to the environment in a sustainable way.

Products

  • Fish oil and Fish Protein Concentrate from category 2 by-products.
  • We convert residual products from the aquaculture industry into renewable energy.
  • We collect, store and process marine category 2 by-products. Our processing plant in Djupvik focuses on heat recovery systems and low energy consumption.

Activity

  • Production of fish oil and fish protein concentrate from category 2 by-products
  • The oil produced in Djupvik is used as biofuel to run our own processing plants. The oil is also used as an ingredient in the biogas production and for leather tanning.
